Workouts are not being counted

Workouts cast from the Gymondo app are not counted.

Currently, your workouts are not always counted correctly when you cast videos to your TV via Chromecast. This usually happens when the Gymondo app closes on your device or the screen locks. Unfortunately, this means that the information that you've completed the workout is not relayed back to the app, which results in it not counted as a 'completed' workout in your progress.
Our developers are working on providing a feature which will prevent this, but we regrettably don't have any further information as to when this will be implemented.

Is there anything I can do to prevent this?

Until then, we ask that you do not lock your smartphone screen when casting workouts, but keep the Gymondo app open so as not to break the connection between your smartphone and the Chromecast device. You can can adjust the amount of time before the screen locks automatically in your mobile device settings.

How can I get the missing workouts displayed in my stats?

If completed workouts are missing from your stats, we recommend the following:

  1. Open the Gymondo app and find the relevant workout video.

  2. Click play without casting the video.

  3. Move the slider to the end of the video.

  4. Your workout will be marked as completed.

NOTE: If you are working out directly in the app without casting the videos to a TV, but they're still not being counted, please send an email to service@gymondo.com explaining the issue, and being sure to mention the brand, model, and OS version of your device, as well as the version of the Gymondo app you currently have installed.
